A SoapBox Car is a motorless vehicle. In Australlia it´s called Billy Cart.
Usually the children build the carts and they also organize competitions and races with them. The soapbox cars are propelled by gravity and can reach almost 30 miles per hour.
When the cart get into a competition it must follow some rules, like:
- It mustn't have motor
- It must have 4 wheels
- It must have a brake
- The children must wear a helmet
- If the children wants it can have a push at the top for extra speed
